Reviews and Ratings
I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel nestled in the Waitakeres. The rooms were not only super comfortable but also offered stunning views that made my mornings special. The dining experience was fantastic, especially with the wonderful attention from the wait staff. Although the pool could use a bit of modernization, it was still refreshing, and the overall environment was serene and inviting. The only drawback I noticed was that there could be more entertainment options available, especially in the lounge for those chilly winter evenings.
The hotel has a breathtaking view and a quiet atmosphere, which creates a relaxing environment. However, the property is quite tired and requires some major renovations. I experienced issues with both service and dining—unfortunately, it fell short of expectations with slow service and an overpriced meal that didn't deliver in quality. Overall, it's a beautiful setting but needs significant improvements to truly shine.
The hotel boasts stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf, and the Premier rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Although the staff were friendly and tried their best, the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the resort left much to be desired. Additionally, the dining experience was marred by an unpleasant smell from the kitchen that needed addressing, making it feel less inviting than it could have been.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel, where the beautiful grounds and stunning scenery really stood out. Unfortunately, the cleanliness standards were disappointing, with dusty corners and stained carpets that need attention. The staff were friendly, particularly at the reception, but some dining staff were rude, which made me feel unwelcome. The food was excellent and I appreciated the great Wi-Fi connection throughout my stay.
The resort offers stunning views and comfortable rooms, which we truly appreciated. However, the service at the restaurant left much to be desired, and the overall facility feels dated and needs a refresh. Despite this, the spa area was enjoyable and added a nice touch to our stay.
